Ground Fishing, Rock Fish,
Ling Cod, Yellow Eye and Halibut
This is not an all day Halibut Charter however we are bringing
the vessel towards halibut grounds where chances are of catching
halibut fair as well some of highly regulated bottom fish.
For a variety of fish this is a much better fishing experience
than in town where only the salmon fishing boats go. This
charter is a 6 to 7 hour dock to dock. We pick you up and
return you to your cruise vessel. We fish in semi protected
waters so the boat ride is stable and great for elderly, children
and physically challenged. What is special about this charter
is that you are out where the “Bush” of Alaska
begins This 6 to 7 hour charter we leave in the mornings or
afternoons.
Fishing Equipment & Fishing
Regulations
Our vessels are equipped for bottom fishing, Penn 345 reels
with 140lb test spider wire, high speed anchoring winch to
600’ (we fish between 170 to 325’), high power
fish finders, and WAAS/DGPS redundant chart plotters. Our
runs are about 25 nautical miles from town and having high
speed vessels will usually allow the fisherman 4 ½
hours pole time in the water. Usually there is good action
where salmon can be caught as you are putting your line down
to catch bottom fish.Regulations limit us to fishing with
no more than 6 fishing poles in the water however we can accommodate
up to 18 passengers on The Boat and 2 to 3 for smaller vessels.

Fishing licenses additional. Due to significant fuel costs,
these rates are per vessel only and not based on individual
pricing.
Note: Only 6 Fishing Poles are allowed in the water
at one time. Shared Charters have 6 fisherman limit with up
to 12 additional guests allowed on boat as non-fishing guests.
Private Charters allow for up to 18 people on boat, all are
allowed to fish, however limited to only 6 fisherman at a
time.

• $225.00 Individual Fisherman. 3 to 6 fishermen will
be on “The Boat”, 2 to 3 fishermen on a smaller
vessels
• $1300.00 Private Boat Charter for up to 6 fishermen
and 12 non fishing guests on “The Boat”
• $1000 Private Boat for up to 4 fishermen plus 2 free
non fishing guest
• $850 Private Boat for up to 3 fishermen plus 1 free
non fishing guest
• $60.00 Individual charge per person for each non-fishing
guest space available
• Fishing licenses sold separately
• All rates plus 6% tax.
